Fell off standing up on a slackline over water and appear to have sprained my elbow as I tried to grab onto the line. Very mild pain when not using my elbow but it starts to hurt more when I use it to pick stuff up, open doors etc. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this? How long did it take to heal?
Thanks,
Alex

Could be a tendon tweak? Sounds similar to tendon tweaks I've had. No idea how long it'll take to heal. I remember a physio friend in the 90's saying to not climb on anything for 3 weeks after it's finished hurting.

At the same time, I gather current medical knowledge suggests that a certain amount of activity is useful in helping an injury to recover in a stronger way.

If it's hurting when you pick things up or open doors, I wouldn't have thought you should be trying to climb on it.

Listening to your body and buying Dave McCloud's and other people's books could be a good idea?

One Move Too Many is informative, too.
