Where to go next week when it's raining in the Alps

Hi there, Plan A was to drive to Switzerland today/tomorrow for some mountain rock and maybe an easy snow plod. The forecast looks poor for the mountains next week, so we're thinking of going elsewhere in search of dry rock. I'd like to ask the combined wisdom of UKC for some ideas on where we might go for some ideally multi-pitch rock, with better weather in the coming week. We're discussing everywhere we can think of between the frankenjura and the Picos, so we don't mind the driving. Currently on the M6 headed for Dover. Ariege maybe, or is it likely to get mountain weather? Eastern side of the Massif Central?

Over to you.

Thanks
Al

Go to the south side of the Alps - Aosta valley perhaps. If that doesn't work, a bit further, say to Traversella, and finally Finale. Maybe then get a boat to Corsica.

I'd second Finale Ligure. Forecast looks ok on YR.NO.

It looks as though Wednesday and Thursday will be the worst days in most of the Alps and pre-alps. Its the same for the Ardeche too.

There was a climbing shop in Final Borgo where it should be possible to get the Finale guidebook.

Thanks folks. We got as far as Toulon, so we'll see what we can find around here. Looks like the new challenge will be finding some shade. Forecast looks good.
