Reception Manager & Chief Instructor: Redpoint Bristol
We are looking for 2 new people to bring to our management team at our ever expanding and evolving major climbing wall in the south of Bristol. We run a large kids and adult program from parties to adult lead courses. We are about to open four multi-use rooms which we intend to use to launch “Redpoint Fitness”, offering fitness classes such as yoga, TRX and pilaties.

Reception Manager: Basic Job Description
- Overall responsibility for the smooth running of reception
- Overall responsibility for the smooth running of the bookings system
- Upholding the customers service policy
- Work with the centre manager on HR projects such as staff welfare and hiring
- Develop the Community Interest Company (charitable side of the company)
- Other duties include instructing, duty management and reception as necessary

Chief Instructor: Basic Job Description
- Overall responsibility for the delivery and development of the instructing program
- NICAS coordinator
- Increase the “repeat business” from the instructing program
- Ensure the instructors are providing safe and good quality sessions
- Develop the knowledge of the instructors and coaches
- Development of school, youth and disability group programs
- Other duties include instructing, duty management and reception as necessary

You can see from the lists above that the jobs involve people management, customer relations, autonomy and variety. Time management is key to these roles as while some time will be dedicated to office based work you’ll be expected to complete some of you role while on a reception or a duty manager shift. As such some evening and weekends are required.

Essential Qualities
- CWA or SPA (Chief Instructor)
- Experience working on a busy reception (Reception Manager)
- Well organised
- Professional attitude and work ethic
- Friendly supportive demeanour

Desirable qualities
- CWLA, Fundamentals, Coaching Awards, Personal Training Qualifications, First Aid
- Management experience
- Experience in the fitness industry (a gym or leisure centre)
- Worked with Rock Gym Pro in the past
- Enthusiastic climber

Salary and Perks
Salary of £21K - 25K depending on experience
Full-time flexi-hours contract
5 weeks, plus xmas and new year, holiday per year (29 days)
