Hi,

I've read that St Bee's has limited access until the 31st of July due to nesting season, however it states not all climbing is restricted. I was hoping someone could enlighten me as to how much of the bouldering is restricted?

Thanks

Not sure if this answers your question:

Reading the RAD, you are OK, year round, North of Army Screamers.

IIRC this is the most popular bouldering ( and climbing ) area anyway.

Hi, Thanks for your response. As I've not been to St. Bee's before, can you confirm is much of the bouldering south of army screamers?

also I'm uncertain as to what IIRC means, my apologies

Not been for ten years but I think the routes and boulder problems at St Bees are listed North to South on here in Logbooks.

So all routes and problems above and left of Army Screamers in the list should be OK.

All problems from Yellow Desert Scream (Apiary Wall Area) to Hueco Crack (Fishermans Steps South) are ok.

Far South Boulders I.e. past the Fishermans Steps have the restrictions.

If you use the roped descent from the Fog Horn station you will arrive at the Yellow Desert Scream block, loads of quality problems in this area.
The Fishermans Steps blocks are a 300m walk from here.
