Heading out to Chamonix/Argentiere this month but have a week or so beforehand so planning on visiting some sport crags but trying to narrow down from the massive selection down there is difficult. Can anyone help?
Grades up to 6b at very most - so not gorges du tarn? Not looking to push our grades, just have fun.
We've done one 45m 2-pitch and didn't die so Verdon might be worth trying? Nothing like jumping in at deep end.
We've currently got a 70m, a 30m and 20 quickdraws. No trad gear - worth buying some anyway?
Looking at durance valley, ceuse/opierre, buoux, avignon areas
Last week of August, have car and will camp in a campsite.
