Rock Climbs Tenerife?

Heading there for a family holiday for a week soon.

Hoping to slip in a day or two cragging.

Any info on Crags, Quality or Guidebooks please?

there are loads of areas, from up on Teide to near arico. can get a guidebook for the rope climbing that covers the island from the climbing shop underneath the Tenerife Climbing House in Arico called Roxtar ( http://www.roxtar.es ) and they rent boulderpads if you fancy that. Also the Tenerife Climbing House in the reception had loads of paper topos for other areas.

There is also an online PDF for the bouldering - found some good problems in there http://www.roxtar.es/index_htm_files/GuiaPirataSmartphone.pdf

The Roxtar web page also has some downloadable updates to the guide book as well for certain areas.

As above. Quality is generally very very good indeed! Shop are v helpful and chatty too. You'll like it.
