Wondering if anybody here has any experience with both Spantik and G2 SM boots. I'm looking for a new double boot for winter in the alps, and ice climbing on cold days in the US and Canadian Rockies. The G2 SM and Spantiks are both options, but the G2's seem much less warm than the Spantiks. There's just that much more material on the Spantiks, that it's hard to buy the marketing hype that the G2 is warmer. Wondering if I can get any advice from anyone here who has experience with both.
