UKC

Just found out this exists...I've been going to the other Bristol walls for years - but anybody have any experience of it? Supposedly routes up to 7a? Wondering if it's worth a lunch time visit, or really not!

I haven't been there, but I know that students that are members of UWE climbing club, meet up in UCR, BLOC and TCA. Have never seen an invite to do routes on Frenchay campus wall.

In my own experience of UWE as a university and that of ninety percent of people I know who have had any involvement with it, UWE absolutely sucks as a university - 'The University of the Worst of England' as one mountaineering friend called it. But you never know, the climbing wall could be its one redeeming feature - so why not give it try?

News to me, just googled it, looks pretty short and not many lines, but for £5 entry doesn't look too bad for a quick climb if it's nearby.

From when I went about 5/6 years ago for my CWA training, it's not worth a visit! The 'proper' Bristol walls are so much better!
