OK we all know that it's a dangerous mixture but I've just been reading about a flood in London with people being told not to enter their homes as there is a risk of electrocution.
This led me to wonder whether, in a flooded area, there is any disipation in the strength of an electrical current in water over a distance. Obviously, in flooded areas, there are going to be submerged sources of electricity.
