I heaved a full trad rack and 60m of rope all the way to Colombia, so am looking to get as much use out of them as possible! Has anyone got recommendations? Sport/trad/alpine. Currently in Medellin but will travel for good rock.

I climbed a lot at Suesca outside of Bogota 25 years ago. Good bolted multi pitch accessible climbing. Also climbed the volcanoes like Tolima and Huiz. The Sierra Nevada del Cocuy has big walls like on Ritacuba Blanca. But logistics and weather are complicated.

I hope you have a great time. Make sure you visit some salsa clubs! The music is fantastic.

Much obliged! We're currently near Guatape, where there is a ridiculous lump of granite with some bolted routes on the north side that are fun. Next stop is Cerro Tusa.
