Episode 3 of Channel 5’s ‘Secrets of the World’s Greatest Mountains’ on tonight. The previous two (Everest & Ben Nevis) were very enjoyable.

They've really strung this series out haven't they! 
The Ben one was excellent, but they seem to squeeze programmes likes this into gaps around the crappier shows.

Well, I liked the other two despite their faults, but this one disappointed. Not much about the mountain itself at all. Though the stuff on the aircrashes etc was mildly interesting (and tragic), the stuff on the tunnel went on for 15 minutes and wasn't interesting (though also tragic). Not sure about the crystal collecting, and that was about it. Apart from the very short introductory section about the first ascent. 

Still, a few nice images. Hope the final one is better. Whenever they manage to schedule it in!
