Got a new pair of Grivel Airtech crampons for my Scarpa Charmoz, and while they fit well generally, the front half of the crampon sits well to the side of the sole of the boot.

Anyone use (or know about) this combo with the Grivel asymmetric bar, does it give a better fit with these crampons and boots?

What size boots? I have 42s and airtecs fit just fine.

In reply to JayPee630: I swapped the standard bar for the longer Flex Bar and its a great fit with my size 46 Charmoz

43, maybe 44, can't recall. It's the older Charmoz version, maybe it's a different shape?

They fit OK, but like I said the front portion of the crampon really isn't very central on the front bit of the boot, much more to one side than the other.

I have the new orange ones, so maybe a different shape and fit.

These are also a good fit in size 42.
