Just seen the grivel clad carabiner/rigging plate. could this be used as the central point in a belay set up? i.e. so the anchors are equalised to carabiners connected to the Vlad.
Yes, this is what I use it for. It was designed for big wall rigging, but is also ideal for general belay rigging purposes to keep things tidy.
I prefer a central loop on the sling, knotted or sewn. Allows for twisting forces and is free.
