Hi Folks,

What is the current ‘best practice’ advice relating to the connection between a Petzl Tandem and your climbing harness when undertaking a tyrolean traverse. 

Last year, I used a cow-tailed sling from my harness up to a karabiner on the Tandem. 

Came across the manual for the Tandem this afternoon and it shows a very short connection between two karabiners. 

This left me wondering whether a quick draw webbing sling would be a better alternative to the sling. 

All opinions and advice are welcome.
