I agree to an extent, however this woman is a british citizen... the question should be Is it her money or is she just a conduit

So were the Cambridge 5

If Johnson and the Conservative Party have nothing to hide, why try to suppress this information? It says in the article that they feared it might derail Johnson's election bid, but hold on, Johnson stated on the ITV the Head to Head that he "believes in the truth", so they've nothing to fear on that front.

The question for me for the naysayers is how likely is it that Putin isn't trying to influence our right wing parties? It has happened in the US and several European countries. As always follow the money.

The Asset Podcast about how deep the Russian collusion goes in the US is worth a listen. I cannot believe the same thing isn't happening here or at the very least being seriously attempted.

Someone without scruples (Boris) plus lust for power equals easy mark for Putin.

Yes, this is what i mean.  Technically it's legal and this is the problem. the Torys can say these donations are from UK citizens therefore what's the worry. So it needs to be about the source of the money... but then you need to consider a UK company that for example sells arms to Saudi Arabia. does this mean any donations they make or lobbying they do is illegal because the end customer is Saudi or is this ok because a legitimate service has been provided?  What about if the price of that service is inflated etc etc.

It's a very hard thing to legislate around.

The thing with all the russian money washing around the UK system is it has been portrayed as Putin's enemies have got out of russia with their money and therefore its ok, whereas we now see a lot of these "enemies" are no such thing e.g. the Lebvedevs

Staggering isn't it? Certainly makes me feel better about the Conservative party not being the party for the rich...

You can see where the lying classes are going can't you - America got there first.  https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-50506917

The British Electorate is trying to show that the election of Trump and democratic rise of Hitler in 1933 is the Right way to go.

When you can get away with public Loudspeaking lies and corrupt foreign links there is little defence left for us
