I often run past the Richmond Walk buttress which is just outside the centre of Plymouth. I doubt it will ever be climbed again as there is now a trading estate at the base.

I have done a bit of searching but I can't find anything online. I was wondering if anyone had some photographs or old Topos. The crag overview says it's in the South Devon (2018) book and I can't see anything in that!

I also dropped the crag moderator an email a few months back but didn't get any response.

Generally I'm just bored and would be keen to learn some history about the crag. You never know, maybe the foliage could be cleared and access agreed!

Brigadier Dave Nichols, Royal Marines, was the principle developer in the 70's. There is/was a strong Marine presence in the Stonehouse/ Devonport area
