Anyone have any recommendations for climbing in Canada's Squamish / BC region? Any good guidebooks available to buy in the UK? Tentatively planning a trip there for next year and not sure where to start. Trad multipitch / big wall stuff only, not too bothered about sport / bouldering. Ta!

Definitely check out the Bugaboos, awesome alpine granite and doable in the same trip.

You can buy guidebooks and get them shipped internationally from a local climbing shop in Squamish called Climb On (or just buy them when you're here!) Bugs are great for big wall adventures, except that the weather can be super finniky (Squamish is way more reliable in that regard). If you want to escape the crowds check out Valhalla Mountains (Mount Gimli). Let me know if you need any other beta (I live in Vancouver). Cheers, Maria
