Peñon Costa Blanca - is there a bird ban on the north face?

We were planning on doing via pany on the peñon tomorrow but I've just noticed the guide mentions a possible bird ban from 1st April. The guide is quite old. Does anyone know if the ban still in place? Thanks.

Yes , was there last week and there are signs up about the ban on the north face.

Cheers, we considered one of the south face routes, decided we'd probably be too slow and went to Sella instead which was lovely!
