With its smooth tilting head and power lead cleverly integrated into the headband, the Trail Runner Free is a much more adaptable torch than the name suggests, and will be of interest not just to runners, but to hillwalkers too. Arguably its greatest assets are the various perks and add-ons that other torches don't have, reckons Rob Greenwood.
