 Bottom Clinger 30 May 2022

White-tailed plover. Near Plank Lane in Leigh. Ken Dodd, who knew his stuff, said the King of Lancashire came from Plank Lane.

T’other side: India through to Persia etc. looking on the GM forum, folk reckon it’s the exact same bird that was hanging about in Lincolnshire for a week or so. It decided to head north, so quite a clever bird
