Re your map 'Glacier de Talèfre' you might like to omit the section of path that runs under the outfall of the Glacier de Charpoua (from the Flammes de Pierre to the Charpoua path) https://www.chamoniarde.com/images/files/Acc%C3%A8s-Charpoua-et-Flammes-de-...  That section is one of the reasons that the access to the Balcon Mer de Glace and to the Charpoua refuge were changed.

Hi Jon, thanks for the feedback. The path is still described on the map as it's the main way of going from the Flammes des Pierre to the rest of the Charpoua basin. So pretty crucial for people wanting to do a route on the walk in to another route higher up in the basin or to the hut. In regards to the Chamionarde article, there is now a much better, semi equipped direct approach to the flammes des Pierre and Dru a little further up the glacier that is preferable to the three pitch route described. Having used the approach described in the article a few times myself, it has been badly affected by glacial recession with the first bolt now being about 20m up. Thanks again for the feedback though!

Ha, yes, I only linked that map as it showed the lack of liaison to the Charpoua path, rather than the Flammes de Pierre approach.
