Happy new year everyone,

hope you all has a great time off and managed to get out on the hills.

I have a Jottnar Floyen which is a great bit of kit but I noticed when I was abroad in colder temps, just 1-3 degrees, it actually didn’t keep me warm. ( just walking around town etc)

Maybe I’m expecting too much from it but I’d like recommendations for a replacement. I’ve read umpteen reviews on here and something low bulk and light seems to point me to a DAS light hoody?

Will be used for daily wear and also as a layer to throw on when I eventually manage to get out in the hills more.

Any ideas?

You need this in your life!

Very rarely do I impulsively buy things (total lie, don't judge me) but this I absolutely love. A thicker hooded fleece which I mainly wear autumn, winter, spring as it is burly.

Have a gander. Love mine!

I got a second ME Shroud for Christmas as I live in the first one I bought. Gets worn non-stop except on warm summer days.

Hi all,

thanks for the replies. I’ve taken your advice and has a look at the shroud. A lot less bill and again on advice from a mate, have bought one.

Have a grand day. Den
