Hello dear hikers, I'm new here on the forum.

I bought a new tent via Amazon with 20d Nylon Sil/PU coating two weeks ago.
I haven't used it yet, but just noticed the seam tape is not sticking to the fly fabric - at least in a few places at the very ends for +/- a square inch or so (though it is not loose on the stitchings itself).

Will this affect the durability of the seals in the long term?
Should I ask Amazon for a replacement tent? Or should I iron those seam ends?
Or can I leave the fly as it is and will it not matter in the long run?

Thank you very much for your advice,
Simon

In this link you find some foto's of the seam tape ends:

In reply to Sijaro:

Seam tapes should stick to the stitch and are hard to home repair. I'd ask for a replacement seeing as it's brand new.
