Hi there,  I'm an Artist  currently painting from a photograph of Everest the was apparently taken from an aircraft.  I'm unsure of what I'm looking at and wonder if I can get some help with identifying the mountain ridge and pinpointing any major landmarks on the mountain.  I have tried to identify the ridges on the photograph from some source images and from some topographic maps but not been very successful.  I had planned to overlay acetate on top of the painting with the landmarks and camps but I'm unsure of what aspect I'm looking at here.  Can anyone help?  Thanks in advance - Joanie

This pic is shot from the same general direction (bit further W) and will help you identify Nuptse, Lhotse and Changtse in yours.
