This is an expansion of the request for inspection that was issued earlier this year, it now includes all MegaJul belay plates.

Thanks, they’re standard issue kit to our MR team do lots of checking to be done. 

Thankfully it's a fairly straightforward check at least.

I am somewhat surprised that it wasn't picked up sooner given how visible the potential fault is.

Personally I really don’t like them, so I wouldn’t be sad if a few faults got found and it expedited a move away from them.
