Possibly a stupid question. I have just purchased a pair of g22 crampons. They use something called the mono rail system which joins the front part to the rear. In the middle there is a bolt and nut arrangement which allows adjustment of the length. The problem is, no matter how tight I do this up is just folds up, basically in half. Sounds stupid but are they meant to do that? A c3 is a ridgid crampon but these are less ridgid than my c2's.
