“The Evolv Oracle lace-up climbing shoe is effectively the performance love child of the Evolv Shaman and Evolv Agro. Both highly technical shoes in their own right, Evolv took the best features of both to create the Oracle; a next-level performance shoe fit for climbers looking to push their climbing prowess on demanding boulder problems, overhung sport climbs, and trad routes.
The Oracle features the "love bump and "knuckle box" technology found in the Shamans. The combination of the two creates a dedicated space at the toe box which bends toes into a naturally crimping position and eliminates dead space meaning feedback from the smallest holds and power transfer onto them is second to none.
From the Agro, the Oracle inherited the stiffer "Dark Spine" midsole and heel tension which ensures a supportive fit and plenty of friction for heel hooks. A Flexible Sling Shot (FFS) heel tensioner is embedded into the top lace loop. When pulled tight, the heel and arch can be pulled in with plenty of precision.
Underfoot, the Oracle uses a 4.2mm TRAX SAS which is the ultimate combination of friction and durability.
