Did anyone used to climb at the wall located at Harewood school? Looks like the school has changed name to Avonbourne.

I'm trying to track down a contact to discuss how they run the wall (as part of efforts to save the wall at QE Leisure Centre), and of course access.

Any info much appreciated!

I only managed to climb there a couple of times before COVID began. From what I know it was just one guy who hired the wall and ran a club. I contacted him post COVID but he had decided to stop running it. Your best bet would be to contact the school direct and see whether options are. There is certainly a need for a wall in Bournemouth and I would definitely use it and likely you would have interest from many other, not least the Uni climbing club.

Might also be worth contacting the Association of British Climbing Walls https://www.abcwalls.co.uk/

They might be able to provide some helpful info.

Good luck. I remember the bouldering area built by Pete Oxley was really good.
