They're back!

Initially heard and then saw it perched 20 or 30 meters below the Manchester Buttress area.

I saw four blue eggs in a neat nest in a crack at Frodsham the other day. Does anyone know if it's possible they are ring ouzels? Looking online, it looks like blackbird eggs can be pretty similar. Frodsham is quite wooded, so I imagine that it's not ouzels' favourite kind of habitat.

I think Ring Ouzels are ground nesters?

Correct about the habitat, ouzels nesting there would be very unlikely.

In reply to Darron:

In the eastern Peak, it seems they nest at the bottom of cracks or in crevices. Technically that's on the ground but I don't think that would traditionally be described as "ground nesters" which implies a more out in the open nest like Curlews for example.

Not sure about other breeding areas.
