Thanks to the generosity of The Rucksack Club and some of its individual members, every penny of the purchase price will go to support Climbers Against Cancer in funding research around the world. That’s right – think of it as making a £10 charity donation and getting a free calendar!
This year’s calendar is another picture-packed production, featuring more that 50 photos of Club members engaged in the wide range of activities that makes the Rucksack Club such a diverse and unique Club. From Expedition Alpinism to Sea Cliff climbing; Ski Mountaineering to Bouldering; Fell Running to Ice Climbing and more. There’s even something for the two-wheeled brigade, potholers and yoga aficionados. We really do ‘Get Out There!’ Each month features four photos taken from action in the same month the previous year, illustrating the packed program of activities we enjoy; and locations span four continents and all corners of the British Isles.
Through the worldwide climbing community, Climbers Against Cancer aims to increase awareness and raise funds for research in the continued fight against a disease that affects so many. CAC is a non-profit organisation, with all proceeds donated directly to cancer research facilities throughout the world. Last year, with your support, we raised over £5,000 for CAC – let’s see if we can go even further this time!
The calendar is available online directly from the CAC Shop and from Climb-Europe and will also be on sale at local climbing walls.
The calendar makes a perfect stocking-fillers, in fact why not do all your Christmas shopping at the CAC Shop? If you don’t have space in your life for a calendar, then why not donate to support the cause anyway – all contributions are hugely welcome! JustGiving Page. Thanks in advance for your generous support!
Posting five of the featured images over the next 5 days. First person to name them all gets a free calendar. First person to name them all who's done them all gets a free T-shirt.
