Hi all,
I'm looking for an all-rounder winter pack, using it for winter climbing and ski touring. I've been and tried on loads as I'm quite short. The Deuter Guide SLs seem to fit the best so I'm swinging for that. Does anyone have any advice on the 32+8 vs the 42+8? I don't want something too bulky as I'll be climbing with it, but equally I need to be able to use it for hut-to-hut touring. The 32+8 looks smaller than a normal 40, does it pack like a 40?
