It's in use for the composite of the six books at the top of the image. I personally don't see a problem (and I'm a graphic designer and writer). But I understand some people's issues with it.
My logic is this - if you pass a job onto a professional graphics design agency, one of the first things most do is to create a mood board of some sort, a pinterest compilation of possible styles etc. These 'styles' will be screenshots of various sources (copyright!) from the internet. Once the client has chosen one of these as 'like what they want', a graphic designer will be tasked to do something like the copyright work but adapted for the client.
Only if you're paying a lot of money to a high end graphic designer to design something 'clean room' will you receive something free of copyright influence (or, like many massive companies that get sued year on year, something actually composited from the copyright originals - see Stranger Things - https://petapixel.com/2018/09/18/photographer-sues-netflix-for-using-his-st...)
ChatGPT and the like use 'influence' in a less 'rip off' way than most design agencies. (I know there are some designers and design agencies that work as original as possible, but the influences from copyright work are still there).
