My son is planning on a trip to Nepal to do one of the big treks (probably Annapurna Circuit but open to suggestions).

Does anyone know if there are any treks or trekking companies which tend to have younger clientele? He’s 18 and I assume he’d rather not be the only person under 50 on his trek

thanks

When I did the Annapurna Circuit a few years ago, there were certainly plenty of younger generation trekking along it.

Can't help you on specific companies, as we organised it ourselves.

I know there will be plenty of people on the trek but I think he’ll be doing an arranged group so was just seeing if there were any companies more suited to him.
And he’s now thinking of doing Everest BC via Gokyo which may be a bit more off the beaten track.
he’s looking at Ace the Himalaya if anyone has heard of them

It’s well beaten.

Most organised groups will be mixed age groups.  He will be there to trek. It’s not like everyone will be on their phones in the evening or heading out to a night club.

I did Gokyo Ri back in 2017 and it was amazing. No experience of that particular company sorry. Plenty of younger folks on the trails, especially EBC, as you say Gokyo is more off the beaten track.
