Hi all, I'm the fellow from the US who posted last year in preparation for an Aug '24 Bob Graham Round attempt. To briefly report back: my planned recce's went beautifully well (and on pace!) but when the date for my attempt arrived, a combination of bad weather and lack of pacers persuaded me to scale back my plans and I did not make a formal try at the round.

I haven't given up yet, though, and have scheduled another visit this June to go at it again. (I am calling it my passion project; my family is calling it a mid-life crisis.) I am actually going to be spending three weeks in Keswick (from June 1-22), using the first two weeks to support other attempts and hopefully build up some positive karma for my own attempt, tentatively scheduled near the end of the window. So here are my three questions for the forum:

(1) If you or anyone in your network is looking for Bob Graham support on Mon-Sat June 2-7 or Mon-Sat June 9-14, please reach out, I would love to contribute!

(2) I have convinced my long-suffering spouse to show up for the last week and be road support, but I am definitely in need of pacers. I am planning on starting Saturday June 21 at midnight, clockwise, ~23 hour pace. (I am also considering Thu Jun 19 and Fri Jun 20 as backup days if the forecast is awful for Saturday.) If you or anyone in your network is interested, let me know. I know it's a big ask, especially coming from someone who neither lives in the Lake District and not even the UK, and I'm grateful to you for even considering.

(3) If you have any other thoughts on good ways to find people potentially interested/available in supporting, also let me know. I have joined two Facebook groups ("Bob Graham Round Attempts 2023 & beyond", "Bob Graham 24-Hour Club") and posted there, and will also post in the FRA forum. Hopefully I won't be overly annoying =)

Thanks all, and happy trails!

Jason
