In recent years most performance climbing shoes have been softer and more sensitive, leaving quite a gap in the market for more supportive and outdoor-oriented shoes. The Qubit is one of the new generation of models to reverse this trend, says Tim Hill - and for bouldering and sport climbing on edgier rock types, we think it's quite a winner.
