A number of existing and new routes have been cleaned

Aid Crag

• Faith Heeler E3/4 6b? *** 9m (new route)
• Ambulance On Standby (E3 6a) *** (Fully cleaned and climbed)
• Legal Aid (E3 5c) ** (Fully cleaned and climbed)
• Guilty (HVS) (Quick clean and 1 ascent)
• Not cleaned but probably in a climbable state: Thompson’s Rib (E1) and the trio of Cabbala, Comic Egg and Ankh (VS)

Thrunton Crag - West Buttress (Grid ref: 066 093): 

• Into the Forest Alone E5 5c *** 18m (new route)
• Thrunton Front (HVS) *** (Fully cleaned and climbed)
• Lord of the Flies and Lamb's Finish (E1) **(*) (Fully cleaned and climbed)

Good work mate!

Good effort by everyone involved. 

Simonside (main crag) is seeing a bit of a renaissance too:

• Regular Nightmare (E4 6a) * - Cleaned and climbed (probably quite a rare ascent but well worth climbing - NB. compared to the topo in the NMC guide, the lower line trends more to the left to layback the hanging rib immediately right of the start of Quartz Buttress)
• Gillette (E3 5c) ** - Currently spotlessly clean and climbed
• Cut Throat (E5 6a) ** - Crux section to half height cleaned (upper section is climbable if you can do the lower crux), still a little bit scrittle on the start.
• Command Performance (E4 6b) *** - has seen a number of ascents and is cleaned and well chalked.
• Long Layback Crack (XS... ahem... VS) - had its winter coat cleaned off.
• Gimme Wings (not E4 and not 6a!) - cleaned the meat of the route (i.e. the bit not in Chockstone Crack), but gimme strength - the grade has more to do with E5 6b (waiting for a cold day with warm fingers for this lead!)

The other "trade routes" have seen a bit of traffic.
