Planning a 4-day backpack starting/ending in Keswick this weekend.

Any recommendations for a good place to park the car for several days. I'm happy to pay! Just trying to work out which places allow overnight parking and are easy to pay for multiple days in advance.

Thanks,
George

I think most carparks that use the Ringo app (or equivalent) give you that option (or at least the ability to add more time remotely)

This time of year I’ve left the car a couple of days at the top end of Blencathra or Skiddaw street….the non town end is often ok and it’s been fine both times. It has been a while ago though….

on my phone, the word "street" started the next line so I was reading "top end of Blencathra or Skiddaw" and thinking WTF 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you. Good tip for ringos, I’ll check which ones they are!

The lane leading to the Keswick side of the Portinscale footbridge would be good for this. It will fill up with campers for the weekend but if arriving Friday will be a good spot. Lots of passing foot traffic so should be safe, and not pissing off residents like parking in the back streets where spaces are at a premium.
Edit- I live here, don’t think any local car parks are ringo but may be wrong…..

Just abandon on a grass verge and put some 'police aware' tape around it.

That only works if also you tape on the steering wheel a partly inflated balloon inside a white pillowcase and draw thin zigzag line across the windscreen with water based tippex
