Apologies as I know this has been done a number of times before.  However, Im looking at an October trip and Kalymnos is near the top of the list.  Ive been struggling to find an up to date ferry timetable as one I found appears to show the last ferry is now around 10.00 which would make it impossible to get to the airport for a midnight flight.  There used to be one around 8.00 or so, does anyone have a link to an up to date time table, or an image of the timetable if you are there.

I would just book your flights and work around it.  If timings don't work out at either end then you can just stay overnight in Mastichari. 

Stay in Mastichari, chill and get first ferry in the morning. You can still easily be climbing by 11 am.
