As part of its coaching qualifications review, Mountain Training has released two surveys to better understand the needs of the sector as part of a wider review of the coaching qualifications.
We want to hear from individuals and organisations about your involvement and views on climbing coaching as well as your experience and views on our qualifications. So, these surveys are for anyone who coaches, instructs, teaches, or even has an interest in helping shape the future of the coaching qualifications, regardless of current qualifications held.
“It’s really important we hear from a wide range of climbing coaches or instructors directly so we can understand what they want and need, from skills and training to networking and feedback. Our qualifications exist to support quality climbing coaching and we’re looking forward to hearing from as many coaches as possible so we can ensure that continues to grow for many years to come.” Guy Jarvis, Strategic Lead for the review and Mountain Training England Executive Officer.
There are two separate surveys supporting the review:
One is for individuals who coach, instruct or teach climbing, whether they hold qualifications or not, coach indoors or outdoors, we want to hear from the people making a big difference to climbers across the UK and Ireland.
