Reminds me of walking along the Posties Path on the coast south of Ben More Coigach. Very scenic but must have been a tough 'round', especially in poor weather or winter

Yeah, some of those Highland rounds must have been terrifying in some winters. Did you notice there’s a bit in the book about a Morecambe Bay round btw?

I saw the Bay mentioned in your link but no details of a round. Incidentally, I did a bit of agency postie work round Bolton-le-Sands once but that didn't involve actually going onto the sands!
