Come along for a 'Conversation with Steve McClure’ as a part of the BMC Open Forum on Wednesday 11th June. Steve is, of course, famous for his accomplishments as both a sport climber (having put up Britains hardest route, insert link to Rainman) and trad climber (having made the second ascents of Lexicon (E11 7a) and Rhapsody (E11 7a)). It will be fascinating to hear about his approach to reach the top of both these disciplines, and his plans for the rest of the year!

Of course there will also be the usual favourites - a chance to hear updates from CEO, Paul Ratcliffe (did we manage to make a surplus in the year just finished...) and quiz him and me on how the BMC's Strategy to 2030 is shaping up, plus whatever else is on your mind.

It's an Open Forum - the clue is in the name - Everyone is welcome (even if you aren't a BMC member - yet) and of course it is free. See this link to register and get the Zoom link: https://www.thebmc.co.uk/en/bmc-open-forum-june-11th

See you on Wednesday - Zoom doors open at 6:30pm!

Cheers, Dom

Good to see the BMC making an effort to engage with the climbing community 👍
