App not updating

I did a bunch of routes at Harpur Hill last week and logged them on UKC. Why aren't they showing in the Rockfax app as ticked off? eg Prefect Day (6b)

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Harpur Hill in the app without success. TIA

I have a weirder issue that may actually be the same? The app *is* updating, but it only shows ticks on things I’ve ticked *in* the app. Any ticks on UKC show when I click on my ascents but are not counted on the topo list. iOS version 3.6.10 build 5226.

I've noticed if I tick something on UKC first and then the app, cos it didn't show, I get a double entry on UKC. Easy sorted, just delete one. Appears to be one-way traffic!!??

I've just tried ticking Prefect Day in the app and it's appeared instantly in my UKC logbook. That's the first time I've ever logged something directly into the app.

I only got the app about 18 months ago. Then, after that, decided to tick off everything I've ever done in the UKC logbooks. They all then automatically appeared in the app.

But the process of anything I added to UKC automatically appearing in the app too stopped happening a couple of weeks ago.

Perhaps from now on I need to just log stuff in the app that is in the app, and log stuff on UKC that isn't. But that wasn't the case just a couple of weeks ago!

Out of curiosity, if you tap the tick button for a route thats not show as ticked, what does it do? For example, here’s mine:

Hi Sam,

Sorry, I think I was looking into this issue a few weeks ago but I can't remember where I got with it. Things have been very busy at this end.

Can you do me a favour. Can you open the app, go to Settings -> Help and Support -> Email Us and send me an email through the app. This will attach some log files that might shed some light on the issue.

I'll be digging into this today.

This sounds like it could be the same issue. That information does help though, as if it's both iOS and Android it could narrow this down a bit.

Hi both,

Thanks for sending these through. That's really helpful.

I've had a look through both. It seems like you are both experiencing the same issue. It could be something related to partners failing to upload, and then that is causing the entire ascent to fail to upload... OR it could be an authentication issue. It's hard to tell for sure from the logs.

It could take a few days to figure this out. Once I have a fix I'll immediately release this and I'll try to remember to post again here.

I'm not sure what that question means I'm afraid 🙄 I bought a new phone last week and routes I've logged on UKC since then have automatically shown as ticked on the app if that helps??

i always tick mine on UKC but ive just noticed none have updated onto the App this year?
