Did any long-distance Lakeland runner/walker mislay a bundle of map printouts this past weekend? On Sunday afternoon I picked up a batch of seven sheets - OS, possibly printouts from software - labelled Cumbrian Traverse and with a red line marking what was presumably the intended route, from Keswick down to beyond Caw in the southern fells. I found them on the northern slope of Walna Scar (the fell, not the road), and they were quite tatty but not soggy - so they'd likely been dropped that same day as Fri/Sat had been wet.

I suspect they're not now much use to whoever dropped them, but if they see this and would like them back, let me know and I can stick them in the post. Looks like it was a good effort - a lot of distance with plenty of ascent!
