Just wanted let people know that the Serrai di Sottoguda has reopened officially so should be good for this winter. The serrai is a fantastic easy access gorge full of different level ice climbs which makes for a brilliant place to learn cascade ice climbing, or to warm up for bigger objectives around the area. Some of you will have been before the storm which wiped it out for the last few seasons so jut thought I'd put it back on the menu for winter destinations. There's lots of info about the ice climbing in that area here at the website I've written, including other places to try out in the valley and surrounding area:

Full disclosure, yes I have a commercial interest in the area, but the information there is offered absolutely freely.
