Not sure if people are aware that the Worms Head Hotel, Rhossili, was badly damaged by fire a couple of weeks ago. Nobody was hurt but the damage is so extensive that the hotel will be closed for some time.
Access to the Rhossili crags has been only slightly affected - there is a well-signposted diversion via the coast path. (It will add a few minutes to your slog back up at the end of the day!)
Feeling very sorry for the family who run the hotel. The timing couldn't have been worse, right at the beginning of peak season. Hope they are able to re-open as soon as possible.
