Top 5 lists for this and that are a topic that has been done to death in Chamonix, but i guarantee i have included 1 or 2 routes which are a little bit 'left field' here!
So this is my list of the 5 best beginner (approx. AD grade) Alpine style climbs in Chamonix for first time alpinists. Indeed many of these are quality no matter what grade you operate at or how many times you have been to the Chamonix area! I am assuming that the viewer has a lift pass or is willing to buy a ticket each day, although some of these are possible from the valley floor for the very committed!
