I have just moved to Winnersh (in Berkshire). I was climbing regularly at the Parthian Climbing Centre in Reading. I'm told this is still my most local climbing centre, but it is hard to get to on public transport from where I now live, and I can't drive.
I wondered if there were any climbers from the Winnersh area who I might be able to partner up with/get lifts with to go climbing (whether at the Parthian Centre or elsewhere)? I would need to know anyone's backgrounds first for safety.
If it is helpful to know, I am competent for doing autobelay routes and have just completed a ropes course which I can hopefully be signed off for next time I'm there. Due to problems with my joints I cannot do bouldering and have been advised to stick to rope climbing and using autobelays.
