Hi

I am looking for a portable / foldable bbq, which I could take with me on a family camping trip. All of the ones I see on Amazon range between £15-35 but the real comments seem to indicate warping under heat and general lack of suitability for purpose.

Do you know of any good quality ones?

I am not sure I understood your comment. I did not intend to come across as funny, but clearly did. What did I do wrong?

The Cobb ones are excellent and can be put on a table

I use the cheap ones that fold flat, they work well and are both packable and relatively light. I imagine they would struggle cattering for more than 2 or 3 people and they do fall to bits and rust away after about 4 or 5 years I use mine quite a bit and and am on number 3 currently.

Obviously caveats around use of bbqs on the hills at times of high fire risk apply.

how far do you need to carry it?

weber go-anywhere is great, and the amount of accessories/mods mean it can do a ton of different things. it doesn't fold, and is a fair few KGs though.

I've got a cheap eurohike folding one. Neatly takes one of the instant light packs of coals that are normally sold in a two-pack. Ok for a small family but you do have to let the coals burn down for a good while as they are too hot to cook on without turning everything to cinders for at least 30 min!

and how do they last?
