Can anyone tell me what apps/sites you use for the Jungfrau area please.

We're here for four days (as tourists and hikers, not climbers/mountaineers) and want to find the best day to go up Jungfraujoch.

We're based in the Lauterbrunnen Valley so any top tips would also be great.

Thanks

Meteoswiss, for sure. They also have the best weather app I've ever used.

Second the MeteoSwiss recommendation. I've used it in Zermatt, Saas Fee, and Grindelwald - it always seems good.

Yes, the national met service is usually a decent bet: https://www.meteoswiss.admin.ch/local-forecasts/jungfraujoch/3801.html

As well as the area specific ones make sure to also read the text for the larger areas of Switzerland as they can give extra info too - scroll down to "Weather report" at: https://www.meteoswiss.admin.ch/#tab=forecast-map - you might need to translate bits depending in what your browser etc does.

There's an app too - very handy for checking the previous, actual and forecast rain when trying to decide where to climb/where might be dry etc.
