Hello,

What are the options to leave the car around Wasdale for a few days 2/3?

I'm planning a multi day route with some climbing included.

I was assuming I could leave it in the National Trust car park but it says "no overnight"

I've left a car there for a couple of nights before with no issues. We left our NT card on the dash and a note saying we were up at Hollowstones and would be down on Sunday. This was back in 2021 but they had the signs up then too.

Tbh I assumed the signs were more to stop people car camping in the car park, rather than being aimed at walkers/climbers doing multiday trips.

This was four years ago but I went to NT carpark during day when someone was there, they then gave me a ticket for two nights, it was no problem.

Thanks for the comments.

It turned out that you can pay with the app "JustPark". And you can pay for as long as you need for instance we paid for Saturday evening to Monday morning which meant three days.

It seems they have moved to this app recently.

I could download the app from there although the signal was poor.

This was for the National Trust car park.

There was another carpark after this one,  at the end of the road in a field with lots and lots of places. It was unclear if it was free or you had to paid to park there or just donate to the donation box.

You could've just parked on The Green, but then again your sleep might've been disturbed by the Three Peaks Lemmings.
